Hello all, I will be returning to UCI this fall. I am a full-time student looking for a place to stay in Irvine (close to UCI) for this school year (sept/fall to june/spring). I would like to have my own room for around $600-700 or share a room for $400. I always pay rent + utilities on time. I dont smoke, dont do drugs, or drink. I dont have any pets. I have my own car. I am very clean and organized. I work part time and play sports in my free time, with school taking up most of my time. On the weekends, I go back to my home in LA. I can move in anytime in mid-September before school starts. If you know the exact costs of rent and utilities, that would be great. If you need or know anyone who has a need for a roommate, please pass my information along to them. I would greatly appreciate it.

Go Lakers!

Monday, February 06, 2006

I can't believe it's February already! But time flies when you are busy. I tried to keep up with my new year's resolutions, so here's a "progress report" on how I did during the first month of this new year. I have been coming out to church consistently and one of my goal's (Goal #1) through church is to have T&T (Truth and Training) bible quiz team to get first place. As a clubber, I remember that it was the best times of my life to participate in Awana olympics and bible quiz. I want the current students to also experience that same competition, teamwork, and growth through the church. An indelible memory I had is when we had Awana olympics at pauley pavilion in UCLA in the early 90's. At halftime intermission, Laker great A.C. Green gave a short message! For those of you who don't know what AWANA is, it stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed. For more information, check out www.awana.org. Goal #2 for this new year is to do push-ups everyday and to play more basketball. This goal goes together since it is an athletic theme. Goal #3 is to learn the guitar. So far, I can play one song, "In the Secret." I've started the new year off pretty well, let's see if I can stay consistent throughout the year.

One of my other goals is to get back to school for spring quarter 2006. But before I start taking classes, I need to get a place to stay in Irvine, preferably within walking distance to UCI. So if anyone has an open room or know of someone who does, please give me a call at 213 364 5794 or email me at aznchazman@yahoo.com. I would like to stay just for the spring quarter and possibly for summer also. If you know what the cost of rent + utility costs are that would be great. Just let me know. Feel free to give me a call or email at anytime.

Lastly I leave my Awana bible quiz team with the "verse of the day." It is one of the verses in the bible quiz memory packet and one of my favorites.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights."

-James 1:17

Hello friends! My dad found a ripped up bill near our front yard while he was cleaning up. The person who ripped it up was nice enough to leave it in a pile. The bill was ripped up in 8 almost equal pieces. I taped up just the back side as best as I could, so the front appeared to be in good shape. The next day, after I made a few deposits, I asked the teller to exchange this bill. I asked her in a way she couldn't refuse. I walked out a happy man with a NEW $50 dollar bill! SWEET! All that hard work paid off~ Thank you to the upset man/woman who ripped up this bill.

On another note, the Lakers are playing well due to the play of Kobe Bryant with victories over Cleveland and Miami at Staples. A lot of people said Kobe can't do it without Shaq Diesel. But Ko8e is proving everyone wrong with his stellar play in his best statistical season yet. I hope that he wins MVP this year and the following are my picks to the 2006 NBA All Star Team. The game will be held in Houston:
